Wax your boards, dig out your loudest beanie and warn your calves: American Socks is going to Rock On Snow 2026, the season kick-off festival in Avoriaz. We'll be in the brand village with a stand full of kickass socks, and we want to see your face (and your feet).

What is Rock On Snow?
Picture a snowy wrestling ring, giant speakers, a crowd of very excited humans (and a few marmots) and more than 80 snowboard, ski and accessory brands all in one place. That's Rock On Snow, presented by Avoriaz 1800 and The North Face, and it's one of the best ways to open the winter season in the Alps.
- Free gear tests: try the new skis, boards and accessories from 9:00 to 16:00. No limit on how many products you test, roughly 1h30 with each piece.
- Contest, kids area and plenty of surprises across the resort all weekend.
- Open to everyone and free to enter the village.

The essentials
- When: Friday 11, Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December 2026, village open 9:00 to 19:00
- Where: the brand village on the Plateau d'Avoriaz, next to the resort's reception area
- Testing gear? Grab your free test card on rockonsnow.com or on site, and bring two forms of ID plus your own boots and poles (they're not part of the tests).
- Riding too? Special Rock On Snow lift passes are available through Avoriaz.
Why you should come find us
Testing gear all day is thirsty work for your feet. Cold toes have ruined more powder days than bad weather ever has, so come and meet the socks that keep you riding until last lift. We'll have our full winter lineup on the stand to touch, compare and take home.

And here's the deal: swing by, say hi, and we'll give you something for free. No catch, no quiz, no wrestling match required. Just come over and tell us how many runs you've done.
See you on the plateau
Three days, 80+ brands, a lot of noise and the warmest feet in Avoriaz. Look for the American Socks stand in the brand village and come say hello. We'll be the ones with the colourful socks and the big smiles.
Rock on!
The American Socks crew
