Ciao sockers! Oggi è il giorno di uscita.😎 Vi ricordate de "The Socker's Punch"? Sì, quella band di American Socks! Come vi abbiamo detto nel blog precedente, questa volta abbiamo deciso di fare qualcosa di nuovo per accompagnare il lancio della nostra NUOVA COLLEZIONE FW 23, rendendo omaggio a ciò che amiamo di più e ciò che ci ha accompagnato durante l'infanzia e l'adolescenza. Proprio così: la musica.

Ma di cosa si tratta? Beh, abbiamo sempre sognato di formare la nostra band, di essere come Blink-182, Sum 41 o Paramore. Un gruppo di ragazzi che si divertono con i loro amici tra riff di chitarra e battiti di tamburo, e dato che non è mai troppo tardi, abbiamo deciso di realizzare il nostro sogno d'infanzia. Così ci siamo messi al lavoro, avevamo una fantastica nuova collezione e un'idea folle, dovevamo solo metterci il cuore e farlo.

La prima cosa che dovevamo fare era mettere insieme tutto, ci siamo riuniti in ufficio e abbiamo avuto una sessione di brainstorming. Abbiamo scartato mille idee, alcune si sono unite, altre no, ma eravamo sempre più entusiasti.Abbiamo formato la band e li abbiamo vestiti dalla testa ai piedi con la nuova Collezione FW 23 di American Socks, abbiamo dato loro degli strumenti e ci siamo preparati a rockeggiare.

Il concetto era chiaro, stavamo per creare una band rock e l'uscita del loro EP sarebbe coincisa con il lancio della nostra nuova collezione FW23, quindi abbiamo iniziato dove accade la magia: in studio di registrazione. Abbiamo portato la nostra band in studio per registrare il loro primo album, o meglio, il primo servizio fotografico della stagione, ed è stato fantastico.

E finalmente, è arrivato il grande momento: il concerto per il lancio dell'EP e, naturalmente, per presentare la nuova stagione. Eccoci lì, in una sala da concerto, pronti a darci dentro con degli incredibili abiti American Socks. Abbiamo fatto quello che dovevamo fare, simulando un concerto, ed è stato divertentissimo. Per quanto riguarda l'album, abbiamo deciso di realizzare un EP con le 16 tracce principali che saranno le stesse della Signature Series che verrà lanciata in questa stagione.

Alla fine, siamo assolutamente entusiasti del risultato e di ciò che abbiamo realizzato: trasformare i sogni in realtà. E ora, finalmente, presentiamo il lancio più atteso, la Collezione FW23! Ehi ragazzi, radunatevi perché abbiamo una storia folle da condividere sulla nostra avventura della scorsa settimana in non uno, ma ben due incredibili festival: SKATE LOVE e EXTREME BARCELONA. È stata un'esperienza assolutamente fantastica, e non vediamo l'ora di fare un grande applauso ad entrambi gli eventi per averla resa possibile.

Il viaggio è iniziato con delle incredibili lezioni di Skate Line Dance condotte da un insegnante americano che davvero sapeva quello che faceva. Siamo rimasti impressionati dall'energia della folla e dal senso di comunità che aleggiava nell'aria a SKATE LOVE. E che ne dite degli abiti pronti per il festival di tutti? Seriamente, questa gente sapeva come sfoggiare dei look spettacolari!

Ora, affrontiamo l'elefante nella stanza: la pioggia che ha deciso di rovinare la festa venerdì. Ma non temete, perché il team di SKATE LOVE non ha perso il ritmo. Hanno spostato tutte le attività a sabato, e lasciateci dire, ne è valsa la pena. La gente si è scatenata sui pattini fino a tarda notte.

Immaginatevi questa scena: l'intero luogo di SKATE LOVE è stato trasformato in un paradiso dei camioncini per il cibo con zone relax sparse qua e là. Quando calava la notte, sembrava di entrare in un mondo da roller disco con mille piccole luci che scintillavano tutto intorno a noi. Era uno spettacolo da ammirare, e non riuscivamo a averne abbastanza.

Ora, immergiamoci nel lato estremo delle cose - EXTREME BARCELONA. Questa parte dell'evento è stata un'esplosione assoluta. Non c'era uno, ma ben due skate park tra cui scegliere. Il primo sembrava un parco per biciclette ed era pieno di monopattini e biciclette che facevano acrobazie incredibili. Il secondo park era tutto dedicato allo skate in strada, e lasciate che ve lo diciamo, era uno spettacolo da ammirare.

Ma il vero punto forte erano le competizioni a EXTREME BARCELONA. Avevano categorie per tutti, e l'energia era alle stelle. Stiamo parlando di acrobazie che vi avrebbero fatto cadere la mascella e di capriole che sfidavano la gravità. È stato molto divertente solo a guardare, figuriamoci a partecipare.

Ah, e abbiamo menzionato il nostro Pop Up Store? Sì, siamo stati abbastanza fortunati da allestire il nostro negozio proprio accanto alla pista di break dance a EXTREME BARCELONA, ed è stata un'esperienza assolutamente fantastica. Abbiamo avuto la possibilità di conoscere persone incredibili, condividere la nostra passione per lo skate e semplicemente assorbire tutte le buone vibrazioni.

Alla fine, sia SKATE LOVE che EXTREME BARCELONA si sono rivelati essere esperienze indimenticabili. La pioggia non ha potuto spegnere il nostro entusiasmo, e siamo partiti con il cuore pieno di ricordi e le nostre abilità nello skate affinate al massimo. Non vediamo l'ora di scoprire cosa ci riserverà il prossimo anno per questi due incredibili festival, ma una cosa è certa - ci saremo, pronti a pattinare e ballare tutta la notte.
