Hey sockers! Today is release date.😎 Do you remember about "The Socker's Punch"? Yes, that band from American Socks! As we told you in the previous blog, this time we have decided to do something new to accompany the launch of our NEW FW 23 COLLECTION, paying homage to what we like the most and what has accompanied us throughout our life. That's right: music.

But what is this all about? Well, we've always fantasised about forming our own band, to be like Blink-182, Sum 41 or Paramore. Just a bunch of teenagers having fun with their mates between guitar riffs and drum beats, and since it's never too late, we settled on to make our childhood dream come true. So we got down to work, we had an amazing new collection and a brutal idea, we just had to put our hearts into it and do it.

The first thing we had to do was come up with everything, we got together in the office and had a brainstorming session. We threw out a thousand ideas, some came together, some didn't, but we got more and more excited. We put the band together and dressed them head to toe in the new American Socks FW 23 collection, gave them some instruments and got ready to rock. 

The concept was clear, we were going to make a rock band and the release of their EP would coincide with the launch of our new FW23 collection, so we started where the magic happens: in the recording studio. We took our band into the studio to record their first album, or well, the first photo shoot of the season, and it was a blast.

And finally, the big moment arrived: the concert to launch the EP and, of course, to present the new season. So there we were, in a concert hall, ready to give it our all in some amazing American Socks outfits. We did what we had to do, simulate a concert, and what fun it was. As far as the album is concerned, we decided to make an EP with the 16 main tracks being the same Signature Series that will be released this season. 

In the end, we're absolutely thrilled with the outcome and what we've achieved: turning dreams into reality. Hey folks, gather 'round because we've got a wild story to share about our adventure last week at not one, but two amazing festivals: SKATE LOVE and EXTREME BARCELONA. It was an absolute blast, and we can't wait to give a big shout-out to both events for making it all happen.

The journey kicked off with some seriously awesome Skate Line Dance classes led by an American teacher who really knew their stuff. We were blown away by the energy of the crowd and the sense of community that filled the air at SKATE LOVE. And can we talk about everyone's festival-ready outfits? Seriously, these folks knew how to rock some killer threads!

Now, let's address the elephant in the room – the rain that decided to crash the party on Friday. But fear not, because the SKATE LOVE crew didn't miss a beat. They shifted all the activities to Saturday, and let us tell you, it was worth the wait. People were grooving on their skates well into the midnight hours.

Picture this: the whole SKATE LOVE venue was transformed into a food truck heaven with chill-out zones scattered around. When night fell, it was like stepping into a roller disco wonderland with a thousand little lights twinkling all around us. It was a sight to behold, and we couldn't get enough.

Now, let's dive into the extreme side of things – EXTREME BARCELONA. This part of the event was an absolute blast. There were not one but two skate parks to choose from. The first one felt like a bike park, and it was filled with scooters and bikes pulling off insane tricks. The second park was all about street skating, and let us tell you, it was a sight to behold.

But the real highlight had to be the competitions at EXTREME BARCELONA. They had categories for everyone, and the energy was off the charts. We're talking tricks that would make your jaw drop and flips that defied gravity. It was a lot of fun just watching, let alone participating.

Oh, and did we mention our Pop Up Store? Yeah, we were lucky enough to set up shop right next to the break dance floor at EXTREME BARCELONA, and it was an absolute blast. We got to meet some incredible people, share our passion for skating, and just soak in the good vibes.

In the end, both SKATE LOVE and EXTREME BARCELONA turned out to be unforgettable experiences. The rain couldn't dampen our spirits, and we left with our hearts full of memories and our skating skills on point. We can't wait to see what next year brings for these two incredible festivals, but one thing's for sure – we'll be there, ready to roll and dance the night away. Keep on shredding, everyone! 🕺💫
