Hey sockers! Today is release date.😎 Do you remember about "The Socker's Punch"? Yes, that band from American Socks! As we told you in the previous blog, this time we have decided to do something new to accompany the launch of our NEW FW 23 COLLECTION, paying homage to what we like the most and what has accompanied us throughout our life. That's right: music.
But what is this all about? Well, we've always fantasised about forming our own band, to be like Blink-182, Sum 41 or Paramore. Just a bunch of teenagers having fun with their mates between guitar riffs and drum beats, and since it's never too late, we settled on to make our childhood dream come true. So we got down to work, we had an amazing new collection and a brutal idea, we just had to put our hearts into it and do it.
The first thing we had to do was come up with everything, we got together in the office and had a brainstorming session. We threw out a thousand ideas, some came together, some didn't, but we got more and more excited. We put the band together and dressed them head to toe in the new American Socks FW 23 collection, gave them some instruments and got ready to rock.
The concept was clear, we were going to make a rock band and the release of their EP would coincide with the launch of our new FW23 collection, so we started where the magic happens: in the recording studio. We took our band into the studio to record their first album, or well, the first photo shoot of the season, and it was a blast.
And finally, the big moment arrived: the concert to launch the EP and, of course, to present the new season. So there we were, in a concert hall, ready to give it our all in some amazing American Socks outfits. We did what we had to do, simulate a concert, and what fun it was. As far as the album is concerned, we decided to make an EP with the 16 main tracks being the same Signature Series that will be released this season.
In the end, we're absolutely thrilled with the outcome and what we've achieved: turning dreams into reality. And now, at long last, we introduce the most awaited launch, the FW23 collection!
