¡Hola sockers! Hoy es la día de estreno. 😎 ¿Recordáis "The Socker's Punch"? Sí, la banda de American Socks! Como te explicamos en el blog anterior, esta vez hemos decidido hacer algo nuevo para acompañar el lanzamiento de nuestra NUEVA COLECCIÓN FW 23, rindiendo homenaje a lo que más nos gusta y lo que nos ha acompañado durante toda nuestra vida. Exacto: la música.

¿Pero de qué se trata todo esto? Bueno, siempre hemos fantaseado con formar nuestra propia banda, ser como Blink-182, Sum 41 o Paramore. Simplemente un grupo de amigos divirtiéndose entre riffs de guitarra y ritmos de batería, y como nunca es demasiado tarde, nos decidimos a hacer realidad nuestro sueño. Así que nos pusimos a trabajar, teníamos una increíble nueva colección y una idea genial, solo teníamos que ponerle corazón y hacerlo.

Lo primero que tuvimos que hacer fue idearlo todo, nos reunimos en la oficina y tuvimos una sesión de lluvia de ideas. Tiramos mil ideas, algunas cuajaron, otras no, pero cada vez estábamos más emocionados. Juntamos la banda y los vestimos de pies a cabeza con la nueva colección American Socks FW 23, les dimos algunos instrumentos y nos preparamos para rockear.

El concepto estaba claro, íbamos a formar una banda de rock y el lanzamiento de su EP coincidiría con el lanzamiento de nuestra nueva colección FW23, así que comenzamos donde la magia sucede: en el estudio de grabación. Llevamos a nuestra banda al estudio para grabar su primer álbum, o bueno, la primera sesión de fotos de la temporada, y fue genial.

Y finalmente, llegó el gran momento: el concierto para lanzar el EP y, por supuesto, presentar la nueva temporada. Así que allí estábamos, en una sala de conciertos, listos para darlo todo con unos increíbles outfits de American Socks.Hicimos lo que teníamos que hacer, simulamos un concierto que fue una pasada. En cuanto al álbum, decidimos hacer un EP con las 16 temas principales que son los mismos de la Serie Signature que se lanzará esta temporada.

Al final, estamos super contestos con el resultado y lo que hemos logrado: convertir nuestro sueño en una realidad. Y ahora, por fin, te presentamos el lanzamiento más esperado, ¡la colección FW23! Hola amigos, acercaos porque tenemos una historia salvaje que compartir sobre nuestra aventura la semana pasada en no uno, sino dos festivales increíbles: SKATE LOVE y EXTREME BARCELONA. Fue una auténtica pasada, y nos morimos de ganas de dar las gracias a ambos eventos por haberlo hecho posible.

El viaje comenzó con unas clases de Skate Line Dance realmente alucinantes, dirigidas por un profesor estadounidense que sabía muy bien lo que hacía. Nos quedamos impresionados por la energía de la multitud y el sentido de comunidad que llenaba el ambiente en SKATE LOVE. ¿Y podemos hablar de los outfits festivaleros que lucían todos? En serio, ¡esta gente sabe cómo lucir unas prendas increíbles!

Ahora, abordemos el tema más hablado: la lluvia que decidió aguar la fiesta el viernes. Pero no temas, porque el equipo de SKATE LOVE no perdió el ritmo. Trasladaron todas las actividades al sábado, y dejadme deciros que valió la pena la espera. La gente estuvo patinando y bailando hasta altas horas de la noche.

Imagínate esto: todo el recinto del SKATE LOVE se transformó en un paraíso food trucks con zonas chill-out repartidas por todas partes. Cuando cayó la noche, fue como entrar en el país de las maravillas de una roller disco, con miles de lucecitas parpadeando a nuestro alrededor. Fue un espectáculo para la vista, y no podíamos tener suficiente.

Ahora, sumerjámonos en el lado extremo de las cosas: EXTREME BARCELONA. Esta parte del evento fue una auténtica pasada. No había uno, sino dos parques de skate para elegir. El primero parecía un bike park, y estaba lleno de patinetes y bicicletas haciendo trucos increíbles. El segundo parque estaba dedicado al patinaje callejero, y te aseguramos que era un espectáculo digno de ver.

Pero lo más destacable fueron las competiciones del EXTREME BARCELONA. Había categorías para todos, y la energía estaba por las nubes. Estamos hablando de trucos que te dejarían boquiabierto y giros que desafiaban la gravedad. Fue muy divertido solo mirar, por no hablar de participar.

Ah, ¿y hemos mencionado nuestra Pop Up Store? Sí, tuvimos la suerte de montar nuestra tienda justo al lado de la pista de break dance en EXTREME BARCELONA, y fue una absoluta maravilla. Tuvimos la oportunidad de conocer a personas increíbles, compartir nuestra pasión por el skate y simplemente absorber las buenas vibras.

Al final, tanto el SKATE LOVE como el EXTREME BARCELONA resultaron ser experiencias inolvidables. La lluvia no pudo empañar nuestro ánimo, y nos fuimos con el corazón lleno de recuerdos y nuestras habilidades en el skate en su punto. No podemos esperar para ver qué nos depara el próximo año en estos dos festivales increíbles, pero una cosa es segura: estaremos allí, listos para patinar y bailar toda la noche. ¡Seguid petándolo, chicos! 🕺💫
