En menos de un mes empieza el Rec.017! Calentamos motores y arrancamos.

Rec.0 es el festival de pop-up stores de moda más grande de Europa con 100 marcas instaladas solo durante cuatro días.

El barrio del Rec de Igualada volverá a transformarse del 9 al 12 de mayo. Las antiguas fábricas de curtidos serán ocupadas por grandes marcas de moda y diseñadores emergentes que convertirán estos espacios en auténticos experimentos de retail. Rec.0 es una concentración de ventas especiales inédita, un festival de moda, cultura y gastronomía que revoluciona toda una ciudad durante cuatro días.

Nos presenta nuevas incorporaciones como Billabong, Element, Calma House, Geox o Vialis se añaden a una oferta inédita que mezcla moda internacional y local.

Se mantiene el Rec Pop Up Day Estrella Damm, donde cada día encontrareis 6 nuevas marcas o diseñadores, nuevos talentos como Colmillo de Morsa, Tres Sis Zero,  BlesstheMess, ResetPriority, MariaRoch, Woodys Barcelona o Mireia Playà.

Habrá más de 20 conciertos gratuitos con grupos como Reinaldo & Clara, Bastante, La Séptima Trastada y Suzanna&TheRandomites.

El Rec Street Food sigue con una oferta variada que quiere reunir propuestas culinarias de todo el mundo.

La nueva generación viene fuerte. Jóvenes talentos que tienen ganas de comerse el mundo, aún no llegan a los 30 pero lo tienen claro. La fotografía es su pasión y cámara en mano, están dispuestos/as a demostrar que el mundo se puede ver mejor a través de sus lentes. La calle, es su zona de confort de la cual no dudan huir para encontrar nuevas aventuras.

A continuación os dejamos algunos profesionales, cada uno con su estilo y personalidad, que no os podéis perder. Vamos allá!

Mariona no es una chica que pase desapercibida, su pelo y actitud punker la delatan vaya donde vaya. Empezó en el mundo de la fotografía de música en directo y ha colaborado con una larga lista de grupos musicales, marcas de moda y modelos. Su último proyecto? @battle.acoustic, no te lo pierdas!

2. Marc Agudo - Barcelona (

Marc Agudo forma parte del American Socks team desde el año 2017. Su carrera, muy variopinta, le ha llevado a viajar por toda Europa documentando los eventos y festivales en los que participamos además de hacer varias de las campañas y photoshoots de los calcetines que salen en redes sociales. Con el visor de su Canon, captura los momentos a la perfección.

3. Raúl Uroz - Barcelona (

Si lo que te flipa es la edición limpia, las fotos con esencia y las mejores localizaciones Raúl es uno de los referentes en Barcelona. Con tan sólo 21 años ya ha hecho campañas para varias marcas potentes. Además de formar parte de nuestro team, su ambición le va a llevar lejos ya que no se pone límites. Al apretar el gatillo pone toda su pasión y buen ojo. 

4. Enzo Iriarte - Barcelona (

Enzo Iriarte es todo un nombre en la ciudad Condal. Pionero de la fotografía lifestyle, ha trabajado para Herschel, Alpha Industries o Grimey viajando por todo el mundo. Su visión personal la ha podido desarrollar en Cuba, Estados Unidos, Islandia o Marruecos. Siempre tiene planeadas aventuras que acompaña de su cámara y que a este ritmo, le van a llevar muy lejos.(Si quieres cruzarte con él, ve a Nasty Mondays!)

6. Sergio Nieto - Zaragoza (

Si no le conocéis ya tardáis en entrar en su perfil de Instagram, porque Sergio a través de su objetivo ve California y traslada cada instantánea al continente Americano gracias a esa luz característica de los atardeceres de verano. Aún tiene largo recorrido por hacer, pero el futuro le depara cosas muy buenas.

7. Anthoni Grande - Madrid (

El Madrileño Anthoni vive en un eterno verano. El característico color que le da a las fotografías, igual que su pelo rubio, hace que se le reconozca a leguas de distancia. Formado en la fotografía de moshpit y conciertos, cualquier situación es buena para disparar. Es un máquina!

Made in Galiza Republic, este tándem formado por Diego Rodríguez y Fonso Valcárcel siempre está en alguna playa donde haya olas para capturar o grabar los mejores drops. Sea desde la arena, desde el agua o por aire, son capaces de sacar lo mejor de cada instante. Además de ser filmers y fotógrafos de varios eventos deportivos de renombre, colaboran estrechamente con el Raz Surfcamp, el primer camp enclave surfero de toda la península.

9. Esteban Starfish - Barcelona (

Si algo caracteriza a Esteban, es la iluminación de cada una de sus instantáneas. La luz es protagonista del entorno urbano donde se siente como pez en el agua revelar su magia junto a l@s modelos que depositan toda su confianza. Rubén Navarro y Toni Villen no son nuevos en este planeta, los creadores de Through The Lenses, tienen una trayectoria de vértigo. Muy conocidos como "los cirujanos" son especialistas en sacar esa foto imposible gracias a sus conocimientos técnicos adquiridos en la carretera. Han sido fotógrafos oficiales de festivales y revistas internacionales durante más de una década y han trabajado con varios grupos del panorama rock. La moda no se les escapa por ningún lado.

The world’s premiere rock and metal event is set to hit Australia for the first time with a tsunami of international and local acts flooding Melbourne this coming March. Fifteen mammoth years in Donington UK, the spiritual home of rock, two years complete in Paris France, one year in Madrid Spain, and now… they are beyond stoked to be rolling out the welcome mat for Download Melbourne 2018.

When it comes to festivals, American Socks, as fans of heavy music have had little option of late, with Download recently expanding from its Donington stronghold, into Paris and Madrid, it seems like the perfect time for it to storm down here. Starting with a single day event in Melbourne with the intention to grow it at a sustainable pace over the coming years.

Last night I had a very strange dream. I was in a calm bay, enjoying the sunniest days of the season with some mates.

We put on our wetsuits and ran to catch some good waves. The tide was choppy, as we like it.

Suddenly, in the middle of that surf limbo, I stopped seeing my legs. My wetsuit was no longer the same, but I wore a black cloak that covered everything from head to toe. My fingers were white skeletons and one of my hands was holding a scythe.
I was no longer a simple surfer, I turned into a Surf Reaper 💀

ALL Profits will be donated to NPO's doing research & development programs. We believe that through socks we can make a small contribution to raise awareness and help investigation to prevent and minimize its effects on humanity. Everyone's environment had or will have a close encounter with this disease. 

"FUCK CANCER - Mid High" will be available on all retails, festivals and online shop.
All donations will be posted on our website, featuring the amount of socks sold, the names of the buyers and messages you can write down in notes at checkout.

We'll announce the NPO's we made the donation to, every 15 Days.
